Lights Up 2026

🎭 CALLING ALL PERFORMERS & CREATIVES! 🎭

The Stevenage Lytton Players are excited to announce our annual variety show: Lights Up After Dark!

✨ What’s new this year:

We’re making some exciting changes to make the show even better for everyone involved!

• 🌙 One format: 4 “After Dark” performances only (no separate regular show).

Don’t worry, no one is excluded! Family-friendly acts will be performed at the start of the show, so everyone can take part comfortably before the more risqué material later on.

(Last year’s “regular” show saw very low ticket sales, so this new approach means everyone gets a bigger audience and less double-rehearsal!)

• 🎵 One chorus number instead of two - and the cast will vote on which one from a shortlist!

• 📅 New show dates:

Wednesday 4th – Saturday 7th February 2026 | 7:45 PM

We’d love to have you involved! Whether you’re a singer, dancer, comedian, actor, or something completely unique, this is your chance to shine.

🗓️ First two get-togethers:

We’ll be meeting to field ideas and talk through the chorus number on:

👉 Monday 27th October & Wednesday 29th October

Please attend both sessions.

If you can’t make it (we know it’s half-term), please contact either this page or Director Tom Beirne; we don’t want anyone to miss out just because of a holiday!
