organised a fun packed quiz
with the usual General Knowledge, Current Affairs and Cultural questions
plus a special 'Name that Tune' multimedia section. In between rounds,
guests can entertain each other with their wonderful singing aided and
abetted by Johnny-D and his
wonderful karaoke machine. Proceeds from the evening will contribute
to the Fundraising exercise for our forthcoming production of the Musical
Sweeney Todd. An evening not to miss - note it in your

President's Day, organised by Ray & Dorothy Gorbing, is the day we give The Sishes its annual makeover. The Sishes is used constantly throughout the year for rehearsals, productions, and private functions therefore it needs to look its best. So come along on Sunday August 25th – even if it is just for an hour or so to help with jobs such as gardening, cleaning and tidying the centre. Lunch will be provided by Dorothy. Work starts at 9.30am. Please put your name on the list at the centre or leave a message on the Ansafone at The Sishes (01438 726847) so Dorothy knows how many people to cater for. | |

If you are a fan of Ground Force and Changing Rooms this is the day for you! President's Day is when we can give our theatre a makeover. The theatre is used constantly throughout the year both for rehearsals, productions, and hired out for private functions therefore it needs to look its best. Please come along on Sunday June 10th – even if it is just for an hour or so to help with jobs such as gardening and clearing up the theatre. Projects such as spring cleaning the kitchen and painting the toilets are way overdue so please come along. Lunch is provided by our First Lady Dorothy Gorbing, and if you stay the course Tea and Cakes will be provided in the afternoon. Work starts at 9.30am.
